The following paintings started out with my intention of depicting the lack of connection between people in a shared public space, such as cafes and elevators. The banal urban scenarios are the inspiration to my works

 

The following painting marks my stylistic transition as I become more interested in depicting more specific characteristics and personality to each figure in the paintings. 

 

I have also expanded my scope to not only the lack of connection in people, but also the humor and other emotions that can be found in people's day to day interaction
